we are NOT doing this again...from now on, we go on vacations TOGETHER.
oh, we do that after my new york trip.

anyway, this is turning out to be an every-other-day-blog...because i am too lazy
well, i know you are in macau right now, so i doubt you will be online anytime soon~

Saturday: hermia and elizabeth and i went to celebrate!
    hmmmmm...so much food!

What are we celebrating? Well, let me put it this way....

"Vancouver just got a little greener...and the air just got a little fresher."
    CHEERS!!!!!!

hmmm white peach bellini, orange julius-taste-alike-drink, and mai tai! YUM!
then sunday....oh....sunday was a sad day for me...let's skip over it

    monday...oh, that's today~ haha
well, worked from 8 till 630 because there was an interview scheduled for 6pm...i still don't like interviews...don't like being interviewed and don't like interviewing

then rushed home to change for badminton and realized i have no time to eat, or i eat and won't be able to move during badminton...

nothing new at badminton...apparently keith told hermia that there's no badminton after you guys are in hk~ so she didn't show up this week...there were me, sandy, tim, kim and alex~ the usuals...
    does this looks familiar?

hehe yes, i stole ur racket...i like it! you buy a new one in hk and give this to me!!!
okay, i should go to bed now
i ended up chatting till like 230am last night, and woke up at 630 this morning and i didn't get my daily nap!! anyway, so take care in macau..don't let the crazy pork-jerky ladies bite!
Btw, thanks for calling me this morning...really cheered me uP! ^.^

  • Blog for SAM! Continued...

SO last night started off with me going to maruwa to buy dinner....sam, spicy tuna don isn't spicy tuna don when you are not there to eat it with me >.<

Looks good though, right? Miss it? haha Spicy tuna don from maruwa is sam's favourite meal, i think.  we go there like, every single week.

Anyway, then took a nap and went out to bubble tea! By the way, I bring my camera everywhere now, sam, just to take pictures for you!
Hermia refused to take a nice picture with us!

    hahhaa

HAHAHAHA what were those expressions for??

    Almost....ALMOST a normal picture.

hehe, see? elizabeth and i are the "normal" ones...

the food/drinks we had....not that good
too spicy, tasted like napkins, too sweet

this is elizabeth eating the dessert that supposedly tastes like napkins.

then for some reason, a chopstick duel arised:

THIS, I am not even going to try to explain:

Just as Hermia was leaving, we took a good one:

    and creepy picture:

THEN, we played big2 for a while and decided to watch Wolverine.
    LOVED it.
    GAMBIT is HOT!!!
At first I was really confused coz he just threw cards around and jumped around with a stick..so i didn't really know what his superpowers were...then i googled it and realized he can put immense kinetic energy in anything...he just happends to like cards as a weapon.
Sam, if you don't see it in HK, I am totally willing to watch again with you when you come back.

We went into the theatres late and I had to sit separately from elizabeth and anni because i refused to sit in the front front seats.  Apparently during the movie, whenever anni looked at elizabeth, elizabeth always had this confused look on her face~ hahaha  anyway, so after the movie, we had to get drinks again to discuss the movie.  It was like, almost 2am by then? and we didn't know what bubble tea places are still open and we didn't want to go BACK to estea, so we went to timmy's~

and unfortunately, none of us have a really long arm...i think this was the best one coz anni kept cutting herself out of the picture...

did elizabeth take this?? or did anni?

    I believe this is elizabeth's....

I am not even going to post the one that i took...coz it's blurry and i missed our heads...haha

We went into really thorough discussions about everything we saw in the movie, and decided that we need to do a x-men marathon...

ANyway, today, I went to look at some houses with my parents...it's harder than I thought...the more i look at houses, the more i like my own....

Tonight I am having dinner with hermia, anni and elizabeth again, at fogg and suds...to celebrate!  will post pictures later.

and THANKS SAM!!!!! for getting the eason CD!!!! which one did you get? the H3M?  Can you get me the "What's Going On?" CD??? It has 不如不見 in it...my FAVVV song ever!!!!

anyway, will blog again tonight if i get home early enough!

  • Blog for SAM!

Wow...seriously....the last time I blogged was January 24, 2008...this is kind of scary...what the heck have I done for the past year??

Perhaps that's why I don't blog.  Nothing to blog about.  My life is boring.  The most exciting part of my day is waking up at 5am and falling back asleep knowing that I have another hour and a half to sleep.

And really, the only reason why I am blogging is because Sam's in HK and I have to update him (daily) on my life...mostly letting him know that I am still alive and not sick...ever since my pneumonia episode in January and being in the hospital and stuff, sam treats me like I am going to drop dead any second...

So, here's what I did today:
    1. Woke up for work.
    2. Worked.
    3. Rushed home to watch America's Next Top Model at 5.
    4. Sat in front of my closet determined to clean it out once and for all and to get rid of some clothes...got distracted by SLAM DUNK comics (courtesy of Albert).  I promised Sam that I would at least finish book 1 by the time he comes back...it's really hard for me, I have trouble reading comics.
    5. Ate dinner.
    6. Attempted to blog for sam, but got distracted while trying to find a new profile picture.  Sadly, I haven't really taken a picture for a long time.  Really though, according to Sam, my face doesn't change.  Apparently I still look the way I did when he first saw me in grade 8.  No, I don't take that as a compliment.  Because that just means one day, I am going to look ancient and everybody is going to notice it because the change wasn't gradual.
    7. Blog

and here's my plan for the rest of the night:
    8. Go to yoga. Hope Elizabeth is going this week.  Still sticking with hot yoga...but I am going to give normal yoga another chance this friday...
    9. Shower
    10. Sleep

So yeah, house is almost sold.  Haven't started looking for a new place yet, though.
SO MUCH crap to sort through and clean out.  BOOKS!!! I have so much kids books that I can't get rid of....I always think that on a really boring day, I would read them again.  and CLOTHES!! Right now, I occupy 3 closets in my house.  Just full of clothes.  I wear like, 50% of it.  SCHOOL WORK!! I have stuff back from when I was in kindergarden in HK.  Ridiculous.

But Sandy, do you really want a roomie? I clean, but I don't cook.  I am very tempted to move out.  Very.  But rent is expensive and change is hard.  Moving out is a big change, therefore it's very hard.  Lazy people like me do not enjoy difficult changes in life.

Okay sam, this is pretty much my day.
OH, right.  Keith has Loretta's mug.  Should I get it from him and mail it? Loretta? Do you want it soon?

Note to self: Change background.  No one can read the words no matter how bold you make it.

  • Time Flies...
Old people likes to say "10 years pass by like the blink of an eye" or sth like that...I never appreciated how true that is until now...there are things from 10 years ago that i can remember as if it happened yesterday and there are things that i have absolutely not recollection of...i am SO sorry that i don't remember you from grade 8 or 9, sam...i was going through some old stuff and took another look at the year books...apparently i DID know sam from grade 9...we took a picture together in strathcona!!! anyway, who would have thought that 10 years later, we ended up together?  i honestly would have never never guessed...

    Serendipity...
Watched "Serendipity" the other day...always meant to watch it coz gordon said it was so good...and kate beckinsale is so hot...haha...it was a good movie but made me think so much...it's like, would you give up all that you have right now to chase over something that is so abstract and so...unlikely?  i don't think i believe in love at first sight probably because i have never experienced it, but also that the concept of love at first sight sort of rests on the idea that there is "someone" for everyone, (like, this person was meant for you and you only)...if you think about it, there's like a gazillion ppl on earth, and the chance of you meeting that ONE person is next to zero...(and really, have you ever heard of butt ugly ppl falling in love at first sight??) if everyone refused to be with anyone except that special someone, the human race would be extinct by now.  in the movie, john cusack was about to get married to someone he loved (but apparently not enough), but called off the wedding to chase after kate beckinsale (who he hasn't seen in like, 10 years and have no idea where to find her)...it's really romantic and everything, especially since they find each other in the end (oops, sorry if you haven't watched the movie yet)...but in real life, who would do that???  he might never find her and just end up as an old fat guy sitting on his couch all day regretting his decision not to marry his gf 50 years ago.

    Looking Back...
After watching that movie, i became really philosophical and pondered upon a lot of things...i realized that there are some things in the past that i really wish i could undo or redo...does everyone feel that way at some point?  but then i thought, if i DID do things differently, i might be in the same position right now wondering what it would have been like if i hadn't done it that way...sigh...so i came to a conclusion that what we've lost in the past, gave up in the past, did in the past, didn't do in the past....is in the past....and perhaps it's better to let go of things that you can't change...

...enough reading...let me continue sam's blog and post more pics from hk!

i ALMOST got to see eason live...ALMOST.....but sam went and his only comment was that eason's pants were ugly....wth

Sam! why didn't you post the group pic from that night?

i think ah ying looks a bit like candy lo (lo hau yum), no?

    sam is drunk!

on the way to ocean park...

@ ocean park! sam's poses are so boring!

    look at mine! hahaha

    SO creative!

sam wouldn't let me buy the reindeer antlers coz they look too sai lo lui...MEAN!

pandaaaaaaaas! sam didn't post my favourite one!!!! don't we look so "friend"?

    where the heck was this????

on the gondola....my gosh...that scared the crap out of me...i lived on the 68th floor and sam was afraid to even go out on the balcony, but was apparently not afraid of the gondola....wth???

    sam ate THIS

before going on THIS...i so thought he was going to puke all over me..

    in the ice castle...

    more venetian pics for sandy!

at dai sam ba pai fong in macau!

the dog was so cooperative in the picture taking!

somewhere in macau....omg...we got SO lost in macau...and we only stayed within one little area...

we ate at this place called kau yu fong....sam's rice tasted OKAY la...

my seafood something was DELICIOUS though!

this is the alley where they sell pork jerky and stuff....these sales people are AGGRESSIVE!! they hold the jerky with one hand and a huge pair of scissors in the other and force you to try and buy....one even grabbed onto my arm and tried to drag me inside the store...

Drinks in HK are either so expense or so cheap.....TIL water @ $35 or malt vitasoy @ like, i forgot how much but really cheap

hong kong starbucks also taste better!

right, this is the view from the apartment i was staying at....and this is the balcony where sam refused to step on...i don't get it...not like the balcony is going to FALL OFF or anything! i am SURE there's a higher chance of the gondola at ocean park falling than my balcony suddenly falling off out of nowhere...
